Hi,

I've developed my project in Embedded Wizard version 12. I want to update my software to version 14. If I do so, will there be any potential issues faced? Do I have to do any changes in platform package (NXP) and run time environment?

Thank you

Hi Thanushiyah,

of course, there are also changes and enhancements in the Graphics Engine and the Runtime Environment of all Platform Packages in order to support the new features that have been introduced with V13 and V14. It is mandatory that the version of the Platform Package fits to the version of Embedded Wizard Studio.

For all enhancements, improvements and bug-fixes, please have a look to

Release notes of Embedded Wizard 13

Release notes of Embedded Wizard 14

In case there are any incompatibilities (which try to avoid), it will be mentioned there.

Best regards,

Manfred.

Thank you for your response. I've one more doubt, Other than the version of platform package and runtime environment, do I have to change anything in Chora implementation?

There are no manual changes necessary. You can load and use your GUI project with Embedded Wizard Studio V14.

When you update the Build Environment for your NXP platform you have to integrate your modifications from V12 into V14. This will be the main work. The GUI project itself can just be loaded.
