Hi,

We are using IMXRT1173 NXP processor and PXP Graphic Accelerator in embedded wizard 12 platform. But if we upgrade to Embedded Wizard 14 and want to use vector font data, do we need to change the graphic accelerator to VGLite? If we are changing to VGLite may I understand the increase in memory size here?

Regards,

Thanushiyah

Hi Thanushiyah,

the usage of vector font data is not bound to VGLite - you still can use PXP Graphics Acceleration.

And yes, in case you are changing to VGLite, the memory footprint will increase significantly.

Manfred.

Thank you, Manfred. One more doubt I've. Is Scalable Vector Graphic also possible with PXP Graphics Accelerator?

All features of Embedded Wizard are supported on all platforms. If there is a feature that is not supported by a hardware graphics accelerator, the operation is done by highly optimized software routines.

Best regards,

Manfred.
