Hi,

I'm trying to use the demo package from https://doc.embedded-wizard.de/getting-started-stm32f407-discovery?v=13.00 to evaluate software rendering for a project but I'm getting linker errors for GfxFillDriver/GfxBlendDriver/etc from the supplied library engine library in this package - as if it's trying to call the BSP functions for a hardware driver, which I don't have (I can see the functions exist in the source, but they are not built as I have EW_USE_GRAPHICS_ACCELERATOR disabled). I need to evaluate the software driver for a new project (Lower cost hardware & graphics requirements, so animation. My current EW projects (This is my fourth!) are all for RGB888 so I don't yet have the source for the RGB565 platform.

Hi Martin,

in case you want to evaluate Embedded Wizard on a new platform for a commercial project and you need other configurations (e.g. RGB565 for STM32U5 without graphics acceleration), please contact us via email. Then we can discuss the project and based on an Evaluation Agreement, you can test everything on the new target by using source code instead of libraries.

Would that be an option?

Best regards,

Manfred.

Yes, that would be an option - I will get the project manager to contact you (I'm not responsible for any such agreements.)

Thanks!
