How to add the widget to the app?

Add to 'Application' we can only from the folder 'View'. But if I created a prefab component, how will I placed in a visible area of the application? Reviewing the examples and articles I realized that everything consists of small parts and going to a single large component, and then to the application. But how to drag my component is created in the 'Application'?
