Hello,

I have some questions related to the quality of the fonts presented on the LCD.

We are using NXP LPC32xx device and Arial fonts.

While the view on the simulator looks very well, we observe some blurring effects when actually running over the target LCD.

Before we run into a big investigation on options, we would like to understand whether EmWi is doing some sort of optimization (like compression) that may influence the fonts quality.

If there is such a processing, can it be worked around / disabled? How?

it?

Thanks,

Michal.

Hi Michal,

there is no sort of hidden optimization and the Prototyper should present your UI applicaton exactly as it appears on the target.

I assume that you have done some adaptations in order run the UI application on a LPC32xx device, correct? Can you ensure that the LCD is displaying the colors correctly and that it is connected correctly from hardware point of view?

You can check this by displaying some color gradients:

How does it appear on your target?

Btw: What color format are you using?

Best regards,

Manfred.
