Embedded Wizard 8.20 Not Loading Beyond Splash Screen

Question

When Starting Embedded Wizard 8.20, nothing happens after splash screen. Checking Task Manager I can see the process but nothing is on screen.

This started happening after I had to ended the process from Task Manager because the Studio was stuck converting fonts.

What I tried so far;

1. Run as administrator
2. Restart the PC
3. End the process from Task Manager and try to start it again

None of the above worked.

Hello Oliver,

try following:

1. Terminate the Embedded Wizard process if it still running

2. Start the Windows Registry Editor REGEDIT 

3. In REGEDIT navigate to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TARA Systems\Embedded Wizard Studio.

4. Within this key delete the sub-key 8.20.

5. Start Embedded Wizard again.

If you are using the Evaluation Edition of Embedded Wizard the key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TARA Systems\Embedded Wizard Studio Eval (with an additional Eval in its name).
