Hello,

yes Embedded Wizard is able to support Renesas RZ/A series (MPU). But there is no ready-to-use evaluation Build Environment as it is the case for STM, NXP or Microchip.

Best regards,

Manfred.

Do we need other Renesas development tool such as Graphics engine, compiler or only Embedded wizard is enough ?
by
Of course, for working with Renesas RZ platform, you need a Renesas Platform Package and the Graphics Engine / RunTime Environment.

In case of Renesas RZ/A1H we have developed a specific Graphics Engine using the Renesas RGA graphics hardware and ARM NEON instructions in order to achieve the best graphics performance.

This means, we have everything up and running for RZ and customers are using that - but we do not have a read-to-use evaluation package for Rensas (like we have for STM, NXP, Microchip, Espressif)

My question is does customer have to pay extra cost for hmi development tool if they use Renesas MCU

Of course, cost for Embedded wizard studio and renesas platform package is needed

Hello,

if you already have a license of Embedded Wizard Studio you can use that. However, for the target system you have to get a license for the Renesas RZ/A1H Platform Package.

Best regards,

Manfred

You mean you don't support Renesas RX/A1H platform package that the same way with NXP, STM32 platform package ?
by
From licensing aspect it is the same story for Renesas RZ/A1H like for STM32.
