Character not found in Font Resource Range

asked Oct 9, 2019 in GUI Development by Preethi Somasundaram

What is the default character unicode used when a certain glyph is not found in that font file / specfied range?

Whether that glyph is configurable?

the default character is defined by the font designer (font manufacturer) and it is typically represented by a square or box symbol.

The font converter of Embedded Wizard takes care that the default character is generated even it is not part of the font range. Thus, the default character is displayed for all missing character codes.
