Hi:

First, this is the content of the fontrange.txt file I generated.

Here's how I use it.

I finally got an error warning: Missing 'first' character code in the character range definition. The code specifies the character the range starts with. The 'first' character code can be followed optionaly by the 'last' and the 'map-to' character codes (e.g. 'A' - 'Z' : '\x1234'). The codes can be specified as a Chora 'char' literal or as an unsigned number.

I'm not sure if I misunderstood the help document.

Hi,

it seems that you are using a very very old version of Embedded Wizard Studio.

With the current and all versions of the last years (I think version 6.50 or higher), it is possible to place the name of the font ranges file into the attribute Ranges.

In your case -  you have to edit the *.ewu file (which contains the font resource) with a text editor and copy the font ranges from the file FontRange.txt into the *.ewu file. Then you can reload the unit (= the *.ewu file) with Embedded Wizard Studio. Then you have the same font ranges as within the generated FontRange.txt file.

But meanwhile this procedure is no more necessary...

Best regards,

Manfred.

Thank you for reply.

Yes, I am using a very old version (6.5).

Does this release really not support this feature?

Is there any other way to achieve the results I want?

Best regards.

Hello,

you can copy the different font ranges as described in my answer and within the generated fontrange.txt file.

There is no other convenient way for that old version. Maybe you consider to update... There are so many improvements and enhancements...

Best regards,

Manfred.
