Hi,

We are using STM32F7 platform. We would like to know how much memory (footprint) the GUI application which created using Embedded Wizard will take. This answer can be a range from minimum to maximum footprint.

We need this information ASAP.

Thank you in advance,

Ajith

H Ajith,

please let me refer to the following article: http://ask.embedded-wizard.de/6/what-minimum-memory-footprint-embedded-wizard-application

Maybe this answers already your question. In case of STM32F7 it is important to know, that our STM32Fx Platform Package is able to use bitmap and string resources directly from QSPI flash - this helps also to reduce the memory footprint.

Best regards,

Manfred.

Hi Manfred,

Thank you for your reply.
I was worried about the limited RAM (340Kbytes) and storage area (1Mbytes) of STM32F7 for a GUI application along with other communication.

Now, I have a confidence that, I will get some free storage and RAM space for my other activities even if I use GUI application with Embedded Wizard

Thank you.
