first all, please have a look to the getting started article for your STM32 board and try to get everything up and running and to create your first HelloWorld application.

Then you can use the template project - and create a new empty project. In order to get familiar with Embedded Wizard and the workflow, please have a look to the following articles:

Based on these informations, you should have the foundation to implement your own GUI applications.
