Extern font example

Hallo,

is there an example how to integrate Extern Font on Windows?

We already have FreeType2 plattform package for Linux, but for testing the App, it would be easier to do this in Windows.

Hello Jonas,

unfortunately, in case of Win32 as target system, the provided Platform Package does not allow the integration with FreeType engine.

Isn't it possible to create a own implementation like the Extern Bitmap integration?

Hello Jonas,

Unlike ExternBitmap, the ExternFont class requires a Platform Package integrating a TrueType engine. It is firmly connected to the TrueType engine. Adapting this interface for ExternFont class only is not possibly. 

In case of Win32 as target system, the corresponding Platform Package does not integrate the TrueType engine. The usage of ExternFont is not possible in this case.
