That's an interesting question that we haven't been able to examine till now. From technical point of view, EW is an x86 application - it requires Windows for Intel CPU. Apple Silicon, in turn, does not allow running x86 Windows. Installing Windows 11 for ARM on Apple silicon should be possible, however, I have never tested it.
According to what I read Windows 11 for ARM also includes an x86 emulation. I deduce from this that it should be able to run an old x86 application. But again, I have not tested this configuration. Following is Microsoft documentation I found here:
