Why does my icon appear in a different color in the composer?

I have a bmp file, it is an amber colored image with a black background. I imported it to EW as a bitmap resource and used it on the screen. However, I see it in a pale green color and not amber. Other amber images seem to be working fine. When I open the image using other applications such as paint, I do not see an issue. Could you please let me know what might be the issue?

difficult to say... can you provide the bitmap resource and the attributes of the resource?
