Hi, EW team:

I'm doing performance optimization. Now most resources a provided by customer as bitmaps. To accelerate integration, we accepted them. Now some bitmaps are planned to be replaced by vector graphic for performance. One of them is the shape of button. The buttons are rectangles with round corners.

I'm a newcomer to vector graphic design though I know some basic concept. Rectangles with round corner can be loaded into EW as SVG. Is there a way inside EW that can draw such a shape easily?

   Thank you.

Best regards.

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

there are several solutions to create rectangles with rounded corners:

1.) Classical approach with bitmaps - see this answer.

2.) Using vector graphics - see this answer.

3.) Using Embedded Wizard V13 (which will be released in a couple of days) - see our release notes. This will be the easiest solution.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Manfred.
