Hi,

I'm trying to flash my GUI using STM32CubeIDE, but it shows an error: failed to erase memory.

How to solve it. Already, my MCU has some configuration packets. Does it affect the flashing process?

Hello,

please try to use the STM32CubeProgrammer - there is an option to erase the entire Flash.

If this is still not successful, let me recommend to check the ST developer forum - as this issue is not related to GUI development with Embedded Wizard.

Best regards,

Manfred.

Hi Manfred,

I successfully erased the entire flash. But still it shows the same error.

Does it work on the original STM32F413-Discovery board? Then it might be easier to adapt everything to migrate to your custom specific board.

Best regards,
Manfred.

Yeah, it's working on my STM32F413-Disco board. But the evaluation board is not working.

Do you have the same external QSPI Flash as it is mounted on the STM32F413-Discovery board? Otherwise you need a suitable external flash loader.

Best regards,
Manfred.

STM32F413-Disco board has N25Q128A13EF840F Quad-SPI NOR Flash memory. Here, I'm using GD25S512MDYIGR QSPI Flash memory.

So you need a suitable flash loader for the STM32CubeProgrammer.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but flash loader are not related to GUI development with Embedded Wizard. Let me recommend to check the ST community forums.
