Hey. I'm not experienced with embedded stuff. But say I have some program which is based on some libraries that run on an embedded system. Can I integrate that easily into a real time OS, meaning I don't have to touch all the libraries and the program code?

Would this then give me real time guarantees, e.g. I can react to sensor input and other stuff within a guaranteed amount of time? Are there exceptions to think of?

Hello,

the answer to your question is: it depends...
If your libraries are not based on any OS services, it might be easy to integrate them on a system with RTOS - otherwise it can be difficult or impossible.

Anyhow - your question seems not related to GUI development or the tool 'Embedded Wizard' - so you will not find much information about your questions here - maybe you find more answers in forums for operating systems or microcontroller programming.

Best regards,

Manfred.
