Chinese/Japanese/Korean can't display in version 12

Question

Hi EW team,

In official demo "StringTable", Chinese/Japanese/Korean can display well in version 11. 

But in version 12, these three languages can't display in EW, it shows like:

and debug window shows this:

Can you please tell me the difference of multi-languages between version 11 and version 12 ?

Why these three languages can not display in official demo "StringTable" ?

thank you for reporting this issue. I was able to reproduce it. As next we have to analyze the cause of the problem. We will let you know about the results.

the issue is not caused by EW itself. The example uses a font Segoe UI which does not contain support for Chinese, Korean, etc.

With version 12 we have added verification to detect and eliminate glyphs which are not available in the font. In version 11, the verification was not existing resulting in Windows selecting by itself the glyphs from another font to satisfy the text rendering.

Please modify the String Table example so that it uses a font with support for Chinese and Korean languages. We will fix the example with next update.
